About Us

My name is Mary Alabi I am a board certified Registered Nurse practitioner specializing in psychiatric mental health services. I have years of experience with patients who have a variety of mental health conditions.  I treat and manage mental health conditions using a pharmacological or psychotherapeutic approach. I am especially interested in helping adults that are struggling with mood disorder, anxiety, insomnia, post traumatic stress disorder. My background includes child and adolescent psychiatry, adult and geriatric psychiatry. My clinical career took me on a journey through the healthcare system, from inpatient, long-term care, to outpatient settings, managing the care of everyone from adolescents with autism, adults who struggle with mood disorder, anxiety and depression, to older adults with dementia. My expertise lies in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy for bipolar, anxiety, postpartum depression, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorders. Upon completing my master’s degree in nursing practice, I began consulting in the emergency department and in long-term care setting. I am currently in university of south Alabama for my Doctorate degree in psychiatry. In my free time, I enjoy reading, travelling, and cooking. I am a strong advocate for optimum mental health stabilization. My vision lies in empowering individuals that are struggling with some sort of mental illness, and I fiercely believe that mental health care providers play a pivotal role in positively shaping the mental health care sector.
